Antique Boat Museum [NY]

The Antique Boat Museum offers a wide variety of exhibits on New York's maritime history. La Duchesse, a luxury houseboat once owned by George Boldt, manager of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, is open for touring. Other exhibits examine topics such as the history of the powerboat, canoes, toy boats, and boat crafting.

The museum offers school tours (self-guided or docent-led) of their vessels and the museum, some including art projects and/or boat rides. Outreach programs, travelling trunks, and curriculum materials are also available.
