Schoharie County Historical Society and Old Stone Fort [NY]

The Schoharie County Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation of the historical heritage of Schoharie County, NY. The society is headquartered in the Old Stone Fort, a Revolutionary War battle site that is currently operated jointly by Schoharie County and the historical society. The society owns six other buildings in the museum complex.

From the society's website: "The Society maintains a research library and a local genealogy collection, publishes a semi-annual local history magazine, and offers a full calendar of educational and recreational events." The website offers visitor information, an events calendar, a brief history of the Old Stone Fort, and information regarding society programs.
